Inilunsad na ng Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines ang pinaka-unang auction bilang suporta sa KalyEskwela, ang programang pang-edukasyon ng ChildHope Philippines.
Ang inisyatibo ay pagpapatuloy ng MPL Cares sa hangaring tulungan ang nasabing non-government organization na makalikha ng mabuti at progresibong lipunan sa pamamagitan ng Esports.
Kasama sa online bidding ang signed player jerseys mula sa MPL-PH Season 9 weekly Most Valuable Player (MVP), Rookie of the Year at team jerseys mula Bren Esports, Echo, Smart Omega, Nexplay EVOS, TNC Pro, RSG Philippines, ONIC PH, at Blacklist International.
Nagpasalamat ang Business Development Manager ng MPL Philippines na si Matt Jaron sa mga Pinoy Esports athletes na kaisa ng MPL Cares sa pagpapagulong ng programa. “We are grateful for our Filipino esports athletes players who are using their strength to drive a positive force in the lives of the children,” ani ng opisyal.
Pagpapalawig pa ni Jaron, “This season, Lakas ng Pinas is not just felt in the games, but also in the good that we do to bring back to our community.”
Gaganapin ang mga auction tuwing Lunes, alas-siyete ng gabi sa official Facebook page ng ChildHope Philippines. Para makasali, maaaring magpasa ng bid sa Google form link na ilalabas sa nasabing page. Iaanunsyo naman ang nanalong bid tuwing Huwebes ng parehong linggo.
Ang KalyEswela ay isang programa ng ChildHope na nakatuon sa pagtulong sa mga batang kalye na makakuha ng makatanggap ng angkop na edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng educational sessions gamit ang mobile van. Ilan sa mga inihahain ng NGO sa mga bata ang basic literacy at numeracy classes.
Kinikilala ni Dr. Herbert Q. Carpio, Executive Director ng ChildHope ang pagmamalasakit ng MPL Cares. “We are grateful for our players, teams, and MPL Cares for this project. This will greatly help in fostering the youth’s education, and more importantly, provide them a brighter future,” aniya.
