Naniniwala ang batikang MPL Philippines analyst at caster na si Renmar “Reptar” Sta. Cruz na magningibabaw sa gugulong na MPL PH Season 10 ang mga koponang Blacklist International at RSG Philippines.
Inilahad ito ni Reptar sa OMSIM Episode 3 ng ONE Esports Philippines kasama ang kaniyang co-casters kung saan pinagusapan nila ang kanilang Power Rankings para sa S10, gayundin ang mga kinakailangang gawin ng mga koponan para manaig sa importanteng season.
Renmar sinabing ‘a cut above the rest’ ang Blacklist at RSG PH
Sa naturang programa, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon si Reptar na ilahad ang kaniyang personal na power rankings gayundin ang sa tingin niya ay kailangan ipakita ng teams para umalagwa sa malubak na haharapin sa S10. Partikular raw na nahirapan siya sa pag-rarank kung sino sa kaniyang top teams na Blacklist at RSG Philippines ang mangingibabaw.
“This is very hard to decide para sa akin personally kung sino mapupunta sa 1 or 2 but the way I see it is that they’re very close together that you can argue over and over again before the season starts where you think they’ll go and everyone will be right,” sabi ng MPL talent.
Dagdag pa niya, “Everyone is right in this discussion, in this debate, because that’s good how these two are. Based on what we’ve seen from them recently, they’re really just a cut above the rest.”
Inihambing pa ng esports caster ang dominasyon ng dalawang koponan sa dominanteng teams sa Formula 1 Racing. “It’s like in Formula 1, the reason why some teams really rule and some teams don’t is because every year pinapalitan nila yung formula ng kotse nila, what the certain rules and limitations of a car.”
“And teams find a way to work around that, use that as a strength, or to just make sure that hindi siya magiging weakness because they have good engineers. That’s how I see right now, Blacklist and RSG PH,” pagtutuloy ni Reptar.
Gayunpaman, nanatili daw na ang M3 World Champions ang top 1 sa Power Rankings ayon kay Reptar. “I do agree that, as it does on paper, it does look like RSG PH will just fit into this meta more. But then Blacklist has that nature of being “Meta? What’s that? We’re Blacklist! Ano yun?”. “Meta nag-aadjust samen.”
Kinakailangan daw ipakita ng ECHO ang kakaibang hunger sa S10
Bukod sa paglalahad ng kaniyang saloobin tungkol sa kaniyang top 2 teams, kinuha rin ni Reptar ang pagkakataon na banggitin ang kaniyang pananaw tungkol sa dapat magawa ng “Super Team” ECHO para makalawit ang inaasahang tropeyo sa MPL.
Inaantabayanan daw niya ang muling pag-alagwa ng M2 World Championship MVP na si Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno para sa koponan. “For ECHO, it’s a KarlTzy with a rewired mindset na, ‘I’m not the best in the world, but I want to be the best in the world.’ That kind of level of hunger.”
Ngunit hindi lamang daw dapat kay KarlTzy manggagaling ang ganitong lebel ng gigil pagpasok ng S10. Importante daw na pati ang kapwa superstars nitong sina Benny “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera at Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira ay mailabas ang gutom na ito.
“Bring out that mentality. Show us that hunger, that desire, even if sabihin natin na at one point in the season na mayroong mangyayari na mag-iiba yung meta and suddenly people will expect you to fall off, you won’t fall off. That kind of level,” paliwanag ng MPL analyst.
